In 2008, after saving for nearly 3 years, I was finally able to afford an orchiectomy (testicle removal).  This was the first surgery of my life, and one of the biggest steps in my transition.

 In 2011, nearly 3 years later, I underwent Genital Reassignment Surgery (GRS) at the San Mateo clinic of Dr. Marci Bowers, followed shortly after by a 2nd stage Labiaplasty.

Since then I've worked on an ongoing series that covers important "post-op" facts.
